CAAB
It is official.I have completed the JESA[Jobs & Entrepreneurship Stimulus Accounts]program.
It took me about 6 months but that portion of my bids for funding is complete.
The CAAB program, is a 501[c]3 that was created to support the community with the knowledge and tools needed to learn how to save money and invest it wisely.
CAAB offered the JESA program to the general public as a source of funding school and small business start-ups.
I enrolled and participated in the match program to pay for the first series of medals at The Boutique Graven.
In order to be awarded the $4,500 savings I had to attend 10 hours financial training, 4 hours of entrepreneurship training and a completed business plan.
I worked with Mr.Jahi Davis and Ms.Celeste Liu from Operation Hope on the business plan and I already completed their Entrepreneurship Training Program and received some financial counseling from them as well. Also, I needed to save $500 of my own in order to get the full 8:1 match.
I plan on working with US based companies such as Moo Cards, Crown Awards and Paper Mart.
The Ion Hewn first series of medals, Urban Adinkra will be available 03.03.13 at The Boutique Graven.
