Omnipotence
Is God really all they say he is? That is the point of chapter four. Our reading assignment included but was not limited to, All-powerful, All-knowing, and Perfectly Good and God Eternal-Timeless of Everlasting? The writers spent their time disproving the well known attributes of God and replacing them with revamped statements is an attempt to make their descriptions accurate better than those of the old school theologians.
I personally believe they injected more logic than faith into this book. Constantly braking and then fixing the theories, in order to proof what? The chapter makes you think a lot about points you may not have thought of for yourself. Such as the paradox about God creating a stone he could not lift or the the question does God make decisions?
It is now my opinion that they used for too much energy trying to guess or estimate the point of view of God Himself instead of ours. My philosophy on this chapter of the book is it the biggest little book of knowledge about the lack of knowledge I’ve ever seen.
